About Us

My name is Trish. I have been an animal lover all my life. I grew up with dogs throughout my childhood, and I also had other pets as well, like a guinea pig, hermit crabs and fish. Later in early adulthood I had another guinea pig and a fire belly newt.

Always caring for animals, in 2001 I decided to work with animals; first starting out as a volunteer at a veterinary clinic.  Later I worked at the Calgary Humane Society for 2 years as an admissions and adoptions councilor. I enjoyed being around animals all the time and adopting them to people and families that wanted to give them a good home. It was also very hard, seeing all kinds of animals that are put in awful situations and have no choice. I saw a lot of neglect and abuse and it became harder to see. After that I went and worked as a receptionist for a vet clinic for 3 years. I gained a lot of experience there as well. It was different there, people were actually attending to their pet’s needs.

After trying a few other things, I decided that I missed animals way too much, so I started my own business, working with animals and people.

I started my business in September 2010. Starting your own business or any business, it takes time.  So I also starting working at a vet clinic part time as well.

I really enjoy what I do and take great care in what I do.

I have 3 cats of my own and they mean the world to me. I find that 3 cats is a manageable number.  Although I would love to have more, it's just not practical for many reasons.

In October 2012, I added another cat to my family and it is going quite well. He is a Ragdoll and his name is Bingo.

It is with great sadness, that my Punkin cat had to be put to rest on October 21, 2010. He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and was in a great deal of pain. His brother, sister and I miss him everyday.   I had him for 11 years, he was about 13 years old.
